“Young people are Non-Formal Citizens”

The project is an youth exchange project that was initiated by SCOUT Society, the main theme is European Citizenship and multiculturalism in Europe.

“Young people are Non-Formal Citizens” is an youth exchange project that will be initiated by SCOUT Society in partnership with 2 other promoters.
Its main focus is to encourage multiculturalism in an Europe where the vision is all different but all equal, where the driving force of the EU is the 500 million citizens, and this asset the people will determine the future evolution of society

The main activity will be held in Targu Jiu within the European Youth Week between 24.05.2013-2.06.2013 where 24 young people will participate in activities that promote European principles – cultural dive in, promoting youth and non-formal education, promoting democracy and developing sustainable communities. Within the project we will employ methods that are appealing to youth, and are based on non-formal education as photo voice, public cafe, street animation, and living library.
