The Partner-Finding Tool
Losheh Palestine in cooperation with JUHOUD will apply to TC about intercultural learning and reduce effects of common stereotypes using media tools.
The project is a EuroMediterranean Youth Training Course about intercultural learning that should be considered in local and international youth projects based by using media tools and others by organizations from EU and South Mediterranean to reduce effects of common stereotypes about our cultures in the region.
The TC provides experience for participants to learn integrating intercultural learning and believe in their ability to understand other cultures norms and traditions to decrease the gap between youth from both regions. It lets participants to discover methods and develop tools in media fields appropriate to youth to promote for their cultures, and protect them for being misjudged with focus on the Palestinian culture as hosting country.
Partners:
Palestine, Jordan, and two EU Countries / Each partner can send 4 participants
Target Group: Youth workers, youth leaders, journalists, media officers, campaigners / 18 years old and above. Who work in media fields related to youth, culture, social, and international contexts.
Main Activities: Information sessions, educational exercises, working group and discussions, field visits, media workshops and productions.
The Applicant: JUHOUD for Community and Rural Development is a non-profit organization established in 2003. It is dedicated to engage youth and women in civic and economic levels and have strong sense of belonging and national identity.
