We Need to Talk

DCTR is preparing a Training Course aiming to promote socioemotional abilities in youth workers (particularly in communication). It's an accredited project.

This project is already approved under the Accrediation (it's not for an application!)

We are seeking organizations engaged in fieldwork related to socioemotional awareness, particularly those working with communication-focused content. Our goal is to enhance youth workers’ understanding of the transformative power of communication, both in their personal lives and in their interactions with young people.

The topics we will explore include self-awareness, inner dialogue, interpersonal relationships, non-violent communication, and the broader impact of communication on systems, social norms, and politics. We aim to empower citizens to have a voice in the realm of human rights while encouraging critical thinking and fostering a re-evaluation of how we relate to ourselves and others. Our ultimate objective is to cultivate a non-violent, compassionate, and participatory way of being in the world.

If you are interested in collaborating with us, please send an email detailing your motivation and why you would be an ideal partner for this project. Kindly include the project title in the subject line of your email. Please note that organizations that do not provide a statement of motivation will not be considered.

It is mandatory that organizations send participants with fewer opportunities.
