Transformative Schools

Our project aims to promote training for adults in school and family settings on socioemotional development in primary school children.

DCTR Cultural Association is preparing a KA2 Erasmus+ application for its project Transformative Schools.

We are seeking organizations engaged in fieldwork related to socioemotional development during childhood. Our project Transformative Schools aims to foster the development of socioemotional skills in primary school children through direct training for adults in the children’s environments, specifically teachers at school and parents at home, over a longitudinal period (4 years of implementation). Our goal is to equip these adults with practical skills and tools relevant to the children's education. Our approach is based on non-formal education and empirically validated models (e.g., the CASEL framework), with an emphasis on art and creativity-based approaches. We aim to encourage critical thinking, promote a re-evaluation of how we educate children, and take responsibility for fostering conscious and non-violent communities.

If you are interested in collaborating with us, please send an email detailing your motivation and why you would be an ideal partner. Kindly note that we will not consider organizations that do not include their motivation. Also, please include the title of our project in the subject line of your email.
