Traditional Customs Are Our Heritage

As everybody knows 2018 is the European Year of Cultural Heritage, we decided to make this project. Cultural heritages has a universal value for us as individuals and societies. The basic aim of this project is to develop youths’ understanding and respect for others people’s cultures. And also we want to share universal values and our traditional customs by a photography exhibition that will be taken by youths. Youths will introduce their countries traditional customs, they will see and talk about similarities and differences. All youths that come from participant countries will do group work activities. They will create a new photography exhibition that includes all cultures’ customs.
They will also prepare a “Values” photo album by working collaboratively. This album includes universal values such as being recpectful, being helpful, being honest, being fair etc.
While doing all of these activities, youths will improve their literacy, foreign language skills. They will also have to search for information from old generations,in books and on the internet.
