Together against prejudices. Looking deep inside the iceberg
The theme of this exchange is the complexity of the concept of “identity”. The image of the iceberg will be our guiding thread throughout the whole week.
What ?
The exchange aims to offer the participants an occasion to deepen, through non-formal educational methods, their knowledge about some topics and issues related to the theme, as well as to discover other cultures. It will also provide them with useful information about “Youth in Action” Programme.
The project intends to be for each participant a unique experience of living and working in a mixed group. So the participants will have the possibility to create meaningful relationships, to build bridges for further cooperation and to go back to their communities with new ideas and tools in the fields of youth work and intercultural dialogue.
Who ?
30 participants, 6 per country (including a group leader) :
- aged 17-24
- facing race, economic or social obstacles in their lives, or interested in those topics
- interested in volunteering and youth work
- able to communicate in English
