The state of human rights

Project goal is increasing awareness of young people about basic human rights and how to use them to create a world for themselves.

Project goal is promoting tolerance and increasing awareness of young people about basic human rights in a way which will help them accept people who were discriminated in any way. The EU is founded on the values of respect for human dignity, liberty, democracy, rule of law and respect for human rights. Intercultural collaboration with young people from other parts of Europe encourages young EU citizens to learn how to respect and protect European and values of humanity. We are going to get to know each others problems, learn how to appreciate our differences and create a world where our differences can coexist.

Project objectives:
1. Learn about basic human rights
2. Intercultural collaboration
3. Non-formal education and activities
4. Establishing new partnerships and relationships to support European citizenship
5. Encouraging tolerance and diversity
6. Knowledge of foreign languages
7. Increasing gender equality

During the process we will work on solving these problems through next activities:
1. Workshops and mini games
2. Intercultural learning activities
3. Teamwork
4. Personal presentations
5. Lectures held by proffesionals in their fields

At the end participants will explore and discover which rights are most important to them and which ones to people around them. While discovering that we will all learn about each others difficulties and it will bring new awareness about practice of tolerance in everyday life and the true meaning of multiculturalism.
