The Partner-Finding Tool
The relationship between emotions, the body, and art
During the Training Course, youth workers will gain new skills in dealing with emotional management for their peers. The main objectives of the project are:
- To equip youth workers with the skills to recognise, understand, and manage their own emotions and those of others;
- To develop self-awareness and empathy through performing arts activities that encourage emotional exploration and expression;
- To provide a creative and therapeutic outlet for participants to express and process emotions, reducing stress, anxiety, and emotional suppression;
- To create an inclusive environment where participants from diverse backgrounds can connect and collaborate, reducing social isolation and promoting cultural exchange;
- To use performing arts as a universal language to bridge cultural differences and enhance understanding, tolerance, and social cohesion;
- To strengthen youth workers’ communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills through performance-based activities that require teamwork and emotional articulation;
- To enhance non-verbal communication abilities, such as body language and active listening, essential for emotional expression and understanding;
- To develop essential soft skills such as emotional regulation, adaptability, leadership, and teamwork that are critical for success in the modern workforce.
