The common roots trough the video camera

Lenght: 1 week Participants: 28 Period: First half of May Location: Rome, Ital CREATIVITY AND CULTURE CULTURAL HERITAGE EU CITIZENSHIP AND DEMOCRACY

This project is about living a multimedial experience trough the cinema. The main goal of this project is to encourage the reflection about the european values using the cinema tools.
When we speak about european values we mean mostly democracy, freedom and friendship between countries. We will do this with free debates about historical and actual movies and by doing cinema with many laboratory experiences in our high school. We will also make experience of the city of Rome remembering the best era for cinema talking about the most important movie directors who have recorded here like Federico Fellini. Every participant will be encouraged to share with us the most historical and iconic movies from his country. Speaking of cinema is one of the best ways to discover the common roots between populations and to feel pride to be part of something special like european union. All Europe has a history to tell, and the cinema has already told much about us as european citizens.
