Tackling Disabilities - Youth for Human Rights Defense

Training course for young people about Human Rights focused on Psycho-neurological disabilities.

The main objectives of the training are to increase the awareness about human rights of people with mental disabilities, and to stimulate the participation of young people in the policy making process at this issue. Participants will be trained by professional and lawyers with long experience in the field. Sessions will deal with key principles and ideas of human rights, human rights institutions, and application process to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

During the training each group of participants will present the situation of Human Rights its own country. The presentation can be made using different approach and ways of creativity (power point presentations, theater pieces, songs, essays…).
