Small Scale partnership to create knowledge and network to work on the topic of aesthetic violence and fat phobia.

Body shape and size is along racism the leading cause of bulling (according to UNESCO)
Harvard survey on implicit bias confirms that in the last few years weight related bias raised causing more discrimination towards fat people.

We want to bring together organizations working on the body shape and size discrimination, exchange experiences & knowledge, build a common database with resources, and create communication campaign to raise awareness on this issue, and bring the conversation about aesthetic violence and fat phobia to the field of European Youth Work.
Additional goal is to build potential partnerships for the future projects on this topic.

ACTIVITIES:
Partnership building - residential and virtual activities to establish reliable partnership and build a common projects
Common learning - Research activity and international training course on body shape and size discrimination
Awareness raising - Communication campaign and content creation on the topic of aesthetic violence and body shape and size discrimination

We are looking for 2-3 programme countries based partners from the field of youth or field that can make a cross-section with youth and bring the added value to the project.

Details about the budget and activities will be discussed with selected partners during the virtual meeting.

Deadline for the expression of interests is 20th of February. We aim to prepare the application for the Spanish NA for the deadline of 22nd of March.
