Solidarity Connects Cultures

Losheh Palestine in cooperation with NAFS will organize TC to equip youth workers with competencies related to promote values of diversity of cultures

The project is a training course to equip youth workers with competencies related to solidarity with vulnerable groups, and promote values of diversity and respect for individuals and cultures. It supports participants to be able to adopt human rights educational approaches and values to increase intercultural dialogue that bond youth from different counties together for better neighborhood region.

Objectives of Training Course:
1. Promote values of diversity in cultures and respect individual
2. Foster social solidarity in EuroMed region among youth
3. Encourage participants to adopt human rights educational approaches
4. Develop competencies of participants in intercultural dialogue
5. Expose participants to Palestinian culture and promote its identity



Partners:
Palestine, Jordan, EU Countries

Target Group: Youth workers, youth leaders, social workers / older than 18 years old

Main Activities: Information sessions, educational exercises, working group and discussions, creative workshops, and debriefing.

The Applicant: NAFS FOR EMPOWERMENT center for empowerment was founded in 2010 for psychosocial counseling, to address an insistent need in the Palestinian society which suffered from violent events that hardly and deeply affected the Palestinian citizens especially children and youth.
