We are looking for partners to apply for a Visegrad fund grant. The project is about social media.
35 Young people (18-22 y.o.) from rural areas of 7 Partner countries (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine: 4 participants + 1 group leader from each country) meet in Crimea (Ukraine) in a Camp to discuss active citizenship and the use of Social Media.
Communication with new friends from other countries will motivate participants to learn foreign language, to become a more active citizen and use Social Media in a more efficient way to develop themselves after the Camp. The Participants will also be motivated to spread these ideas in local communities and to widen their networks what will work on strengthening connections, communication and cooperation of people of Partner countries.
Much attention will be paid to sharing the experience of the Participants. They will discuss the role Social Media play in their life, the opportunities Social Media give to young people, how to use Social Media in a more effective, useful and interesting way and what are the risks of using Social Media.
To make the Camp more fun and engaging, there will be cultural evenings with country presentations of each group, sport games, workshops, etc. The venue will be near the sea and many activities will be held at the beach.
