Skills Transfer from HR to Volunteer Management

Innovative training program aiming to increase the capacity of youth organizations by transferring human resources skills to volunteer management

This project was developed to address the lack of professional human resource management commonly observed in youth organizations. Many youth organizations struggle to increase volunteers' motivation and ensure their long-term commitment, as they lack sufficient knowledge on volunteer management. In addition, youth workers focus on technical skills and lack the soft skills necessary for volunteer management.

Our project aims to improve volunteer management and human resources skills of youth workers. In this context, we aim to provide trainings on volunteer management, performance management, leadership, team management and volunteer motivation techniques. Participants will be able to develop sustainable volunteer programs by applying the acquired skills in their own organizations. The project also aims to promote the exchange of good practices and intercultural learning across Europe.

Expectations from Partners:

- To disseminate the project results and implement them in their own countries
- Sharing content and experience that can contribute to the project
- Disseminate project outputs at national and international level

Expected Results:

- Increased professional volunteer management skills of youth workers
- Developing sustainable volunteer programs in youth organizations
- Improving the quality of youth work across Europe
Strengthening international cooperation networks among participants
