We, the Unique Ideas Club, are a community dedicated to empowering our society and providing support to individuals. We are founded on the belief in striving for better quality of life for everyone and positively influencing our community. Since 2021, we have been generating ideas and fostering social development through the Rural Exodus Programme, which will now continue its work under the new name Rural African Matters with the motto "Advocating Change". Here, we unite Turkish and African volunteers with the dream of a society befitting human dignity. RAM is a community dedicated to the societal development of young people, women, individuals with disabilities, and marginalized communities in rural Africa and Turkish societies.

Our Mission:
To advocate for and empower young people, women, individuals with disabilities, and marginalized communities living in rural Africa and Turkish societies through economic empowerment, community projects, and environmental conservation initiatives. We believe in promoting sustainable development by creating growth and prosperity opportunities in every corner of our communities.
Our Objectives:
Economic Empowerment: We aim to empower individuals by providing them with the tools and resources they need for economic development.
Community Projects: As RAM, we aim to tirelessly formulate and implement projects that directly benefit the community, address urgent issues, and improve livelihoods.
Collaboration and Aid: We aim to collaborate with stakeholders to undertake capital investment programs that guide sustainable development.
Philanthropic Work: RAM is dedicated to supporting less fortunate individuals through various philanthropic initiatives and ensuring that no one is left behind.
Environmental Advocacy: We aim to advocate for the protection of the environment and promote sustainable practices, recognizing the importance of preserving our natural resources for future generations.
Social Advocacy: RAM actively participates in social advocacy efforts, amplifying the voices of marginalized groups and advocating for their rights.
Education and Skill Development: We believe in the power of education and skill development to uplift communities, providing training and resources for social, economic, and life skills activities.
Income-Generating Projects: RAM aims to implement income-generating projects to promote self-sufficiency and resilience by creating economic opportunities for volunteers and members.
Our Capabilities:
RAM currently has the authority to fundraise, acquire property, employ staff, organize events and activities, publish, and engage in all legal activities in Kenya. Work is ongoing for Turkey, and applications will be made soon.
Expected Responsibilities:
Task Fulfillment: Completing assigned tasks effectively and in a timely manner within the project scope.
Participation and Communication: Maintaining effective communication with team members through regular communication channels and ensuring participation throughout the project process.
Openness to Development: Evaluating opportunities to develop one's own knowledge and skills and being open to feedback on projects.
Commitment to Organizational Values: Acting in accordance with RAM's mission, vision, and values, and preserving the organization's reputation.
Flexibility and Collaboration: Being flexible in adapting to changing conditions and collaborating within the team spirit.
Reporting and Evaluation: Regular reporting on project progress and participating in feedback processes at the end of projects.
Desired Qualifications:
Collaboration Skills: Candidates who are inclined towards teamwork, have strong communication skills, and enjoy working together are preferred.
Accountability: We are looking for individuals who can fulfill assigned tasks effectively and in a timely manner throughout the project process.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Candidates who can quickly adapt to changing conditions, think flexibly, and are solution-oriented are preferred.
Empathy and Sensitivity: It is important for individuals from various segments of society to be understanding, empathetic, and sensitive in our projects.
Principle of Volunteering: We are looking for candidates who truly believe in volunteering, are willing to contribute to the community, and are eager to be involved in this process.
Relevant Field Knowledge: Candidates with knowledge or experience in specific areas required for certain projects will be given priority.

This project is conducted remotely and is open to applications from civil society organizations worldwide. Applications from Istanbul will also be considered for the Turkey office and the board of directors.
