Protected area and biodiversity: two important allies to climate

Protected areas are an important instrument in the fight against climate change .

Small scale partnership- deadline november 2021-

Protected areas are an important instrument in the fight against climate change both directly (carbon sequestration) and indirectly as most of the activities that take place there (tourism, agriculture, forestry, livestock) are activities that are realized in ways with low environmental impact; the enhancement of these experiences can contribute to the construction of less impacting economies even outside the protected areas
The formation of people with scientifically correct information contributes to the adoption of lifestyles with less impact and lower CO2 emissions. Protected areas with their forms of biodiversity can represent a system for monitoring the effects of climate change
The project is aimed at adults in the neighboring areas to protected areas or particularly attached to these areas in terms of use but with limited environmental expertise and wish to acquire scientifically correct information on biodiversity and climate change.
The project aims at a partnership to explore the issue of climate change in relation to protected areas.
Deepen and disclose that protected areas are a tool to combat climate change. take action in the implementation of concrete improvement and / or mitigation actions
We are going to search two/three partner in order to collaborate
