Power of words

With this project we want to reduce the rate of intolerance, discrimination and harassment in all partner countries in this project.

Discrimination is harmful to young people because it creates a false sense of support that leads to failure and disappointment in themselves, leading to fear and avoidance of other groups and also to a sense of inferiority and social rejection. Discrimination and prejudice is hard to change but there are actions that can help to achieve this objective and will be implemented in this project through workshops, seminars, debates and other means of non-formal education.

Through seminars and workshops, participants will learn about: tolerance, diversity, forms and grounds of discrimination, affirmative action, the communication process and its functions and forms, obstacles in communication, the promotion of strategy of listening, learning, thinking and reasoning techniques of active listening. The most signifiant result of education is tolerance.
