Possibilities for Disabilities

Warsaw is the largest concentration of population in Poland. Among them alive and functioning people with disabilities/fewer opportunities.
The main objective of Study Visit "Possibilities for Disabilities" is a presentation of the state institutions and NGOs dealing with people with disabilities. It will be time to observe how to work with them, how they working and how to create places for better life for people (children, youngsters or adults) with different kind of disabilities.
During the nine days participants will be able to see different kind of organizations: those with physical, mental, mental illness, people after accidents, deaf and hard of hearing We are going to visit NGOs, rehabilitee’s Centers, sports clubs, job search centers for people with disabilities, hippo therapy centers, therapy by dogs, organizations working in the field of international area, special and integration schools. You can also learn about methods - formal and non-formals using with this area (music, art, animals, coaching) . Poland is a country where a lot is happening in this field. We want to show it to others. It will time to observe, learn, share the knowledge, asking the questions and create new Partnerships. Study Visit is for all those who work with disabled people, going to work, or would like to learn something new, sometimes non-existent in their country. Some of this organization are EVS hosting organization, it will be good time to come and observe potential place for long - term EVS project.
