PEACE AND LOVE DROPS FROM MEVLANA

Description of the Project: This project is a local project in the framework of 2015 Mevlana Cultural Interaction Program. Hz. Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi is the great Anatolian mystic, poet and the father of the Mevlevi Order. He is known as Hz. Mevlana in the East and as Rumi in the West. As well as his mercy, voluntary and unlimited humanity, he had endless tolerance and he impressed not only the world of Islam but also the whole humanity. He is accepted worldwide as an intellectual with his point of view to the people and life. UNESCO, due to the 800th anniversary of Mevlana's birth, declared the year 2007 as Mevlana and Tolerance yearThe main team of our project is to make awareness about the principles of Mevlana, teaching messages of Mevlana about love and peace in our young Turks living in abroad. So,we will organise thematic seminars and cultural programs.
Features of partners: We are looking for especially Balkan countries which have intensive Turkish population. In this project we can work with universities, public intuitions, NGOs, Youth Centers .
