The pandemic caused by Covid-19 has created more communication obstacles among younger people, particularly in aspects related to speaking. If for a large proportion of adults, speaking in public is a difficult or not easy task, for younger people, speaking skills constitute a strong communication challenge.
A vast majority of teachers daily demand better communication skills from their students, especially when presenting in public.
Public speaking techniques exist and can be applied by anyone, as long as they have technical knowledge. The sooner it happens, the better!
Those who master oratory techniques gain advantages in the job market. One of the requirements most valued by companies' human resources is precisely the ability of job candidates to master oral skills and the ability to establish effective communication during the job interview.
Knowing how to speak eloquently, demonstrating confidence and the ability to transmit a message effectively and with impact are qualities that many want to achieve throughout their lives. The tournament is a national public speaking competition where thousands of students learn to speak effectively in public during an intensive day of training held at their respective participating schools.
The students who stand out the most in their training later participate in a semi-final contested between students from other schools in the same district.
At the end of this moment, final year students are recruited who will take a great oratory test in the Grand Final of the Tournament. The winner receives the title of Best TOP Speaker of the year.
