NEW BRIDGES: Strong Partnerships for Strong NGO's

On behalf of SOLOMON we would like to submit this KA1 project for the deadline of 26th April 2017. We intend to involve at least 10 partners
Because of the conditions for this deadline, we only will search partners from countries belong to member states of EU and non-EU programme countries.

Venue: Brasov or near Brasov, Romania

Target group of participants
Board managers, Project managers, trainers, youth workers and youth leaders, and other that are interested in develop “New Bridges” and new ways to do our work better, efficient and result oriented.
But in the same time we want use this opportunity to know each other better in order to create a strong strategic partner data base.
Good level of English is required for this training as we intend to create a high tempo.

Main goals and agenda for the project
The main goal of the training and networking project is to identify and solve problems related to:
-lack of quality/strategic network that organizations are facing,
-lack of knowledge of all programs where they can apply and receive funds for their activities,
-lack of strategic projects, not having relevance in the society they operate,
-lack of meaningful projects that address burning issues in society
This project tends to find solutions to other challenges on the basis of real examples and assessment of organizations.

Project activities will be divided into 4 different sections:
- EXPERIENCES: the main section which presents local project ideas and performances produced by each NGO, presentation of innovative local projects.
- MAJOR PROJECTS: projects with important impact dedicated to those who want to develop projects with more than 6 partners;
- DISCOVERIES: Open Space dedicated to emerging ideas who have the opportunity to develop new projects in the next deadline (2018) of the Erasmus+.
- PUBLIC CAFE: open table where new projects are presented for debate and possible improvements.
Having in mind that our projects intention is to find solutions for some of these challenges, using resources that we have at the moment, we want to work with people involved from partner organizations that are facing similar challenges and to ask them to work together to find solutions that will provide sustainability and effectiveness in the work of all the organizations.
As an result we intend develop at least 1 major project. Also we intend to share know-how and the best practices, making our findings and solutions applicable, easy to follow and long-term-goals oriented.

Also we want to design new projects ideas and make partnerships with reliable organizations for the period 2017-2020, having in mind that many of the topics that we are targeting are going to remain relevant in the following years (youth unemployment, healthy life style, sport, EU challenges, etc).

Due to this project promote an exchange of good practices and an active participation by all organizations, we would like to get a real share ideas and a participative process since the beginning from all organizations involved.
For this reason, though we are the organizers of the project, we would like to get your implication during the whole project. In this way, we will get a project more interesting for everyone because all of us will have the chance to provide the contributions, learning from each other and sharing ideas and experiences.
If you agree to become one of our partners of the project, we will request the information about your contribution, according to your experience, in the different topics proposed.
We intend to keep also in mind to develop time for national nights dedicated to each partner country involved in this project.
Also because we prepare the project to take place in early December we intend to spend some quality time with winter holiday atmosphere.
