The Partner-Finding Tool
Croatian national political science student organisation open to partnerships for October Erasmus+ round.
Hey there, fellow youth advocates and changemakers!
We are USPZ Hrvatska (that's Association of Political Science Students Croatia), and we are on a mission to shake things up in the world of youth empowerment and European integration.
Who are we? We are a bunch of energetic political science students and graduates who have been stirring things up since 2018. We are all about empowering young people, teaching them about civic responsibility, and helping them navigate the complex world of EU politics and institutions. But don't worry, we make it fun – think mock parliaments, field trips to cool institutions, and heated debates about the future of Europe.
What is our secret sauce? We're experts at getting young people excited about things they usually find boring - like politics and civic engagement. We have mastered the art of making dry topics interesting through interactive methods, blending humor, real-world applications, and a dash of healthy competition. Plus, we have got some serious project management chops, having successfully pulled off everything from local initiatives to Erasmus+ youth exchanges.
But here is where it gets really interesting: we are not just about politics. We are like the mad scientists of youth engagement, blending political science with STEM, financial literacy, and digital skills. We believe in creating well-rounded young citizens who can navigate both the political and technological landscapes of tomorrow.
Now, let's talk partnerships. We are looking for organizations as passionate and slightly crazy about youth engagement as we are. Here's what we're after in different project types.
A) For KA154 (Youth Participation Activities), we are all about bringing young people face-to-face with decision-makers. We want to create spaces where youth can have real, meaningful dialogues with politicians and policymakers. We are also keen on tackling media literacy and fighting the spread of fake news. Got innovative ideas on how to make young people more critical consumers of information? We are all ears!
B) When it comes to KA210 (Small-scale Partnerships), we are looking to dive deep into specific issues. Maybe you have got a brilliant idea for a new tool to teach young people about political systems, or you're passionate about creating cross-border initiatives that promote EU citizenship. We are particularly interested in addressing challenges like youth political apathy or the spread of misinformation among young people.
C) For KA220 (Cooperation Partnerships), we are thinking big. We want to develop comprehensive youth policies that can be implemented at local or national levels. We are looking for partners who are in it for the long haul – organisations that want to create sustainable models of youth civic engagement. And if you are into research, even better! We would love to collaborate on projects that explore youth participation in democratic processes across Europe.
Here is what we bring to the table:
1. Expertise in engaging young people through interactive methods.
2. Strong project management skills and a track record of successful implementations.
3. Deep understanding of EU affairs and the political landscape in Croatia and the Western Balkans.
4. Interdisciplinary approach, blending political science with other crucial skills.
5. A network of connections in academia, government, and civil society sectors.
Our vision? We want to create partnerships that not only make our organizations better but also significantly impact how young Europeans engage with politics and society. We are talking about co-creating innovative educational programs, conducting cross-cultural research, and developing new ways to empower youth. And we promise to bring our enthusiasm, expertise, and a healthy dose of Croatian humor to every project.
If you are still reading this and thinking, "These USPZ Hrvatska folks sound like my kind of people", then what are you waiting for?
Let's connect! Shoot us an email at info@uspzh.hr and check out our website at www.uspzh.hr. We are always up for a good chat about potential collaborations, crazy ideas, or just the state of youth engagement in Europe.
Remember, at USPZ Hrvatska, we believe that empowering young people is not just about teaching them - it is about giving them the tools to reshape the world. So, if you're ready to join us in our slightly ambitious (some might say overly optimistic) mission to create the next generation of European leaders and changemakers, we can't wait to hear from you!
