Looking for Partner! Erasmus+ KA220- FutureReady Project

FutureReady project is acomprehensive initiative designed to address digital communication, the ethical use of technology, and efforts to combat disinformation.

Global conflicts, social crises, and natural disasters have presented significant challenges worldwide. During this process, the concept of disinformation, aimed at mobilizing masses, shaping public opinion, and creating chaos, has reached a dangerous level by spreading widely in digital media environments. The FutureReady EU+ Project is a comprehensive initiative addressing digital literacy, the ethical use of technology, and efforts to combat disinformation.

Disinformation is a critical issue addressed by the FutureReady EU+ Project. The strategy for online platforms involves countering false narratives spread on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, and TikTok, which undermine international diplomacy and crisis interventions while increasing social polarization. By enhancing media literacy and promoting critical thinking, the project counters these false narratives, thereby strengthening social cohesion and supporting informed global responses to crises.

Aligned with the overall objectives of the Erasmus+ program and the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, the FutureReady EU+ Project aims to ensure the ethical and transparent use of artificial intelligence in the digital age. Educational programs and workshops equip young people with the skills to navigate online environments safely and evaluate digital content critically. This approach ensures compliance with EU regulations and promotes safe and ethical digital practices. The project also addresses the spread of misinformation and hate speech, which have increased due to populism, nationalism, and distrust in traditional media. While social media and collaborative technologies are essential for emergency preparedness and response, they also facilitate the rapid spread of misinformation. The FutureReady EU+ Project educates the public on identifying and avoiding misinformation and promotes the responsible use of digital platforms through proactive educational and preventive measures against disinformation.

In conclusion, the FutureReady EU+ Project aims to foster long-term resilience, ethical technology use, and an informed society capable of tackling digital challenges. Through its comprehensive approach, the project addresses immediate issues while laying the foundation for a brighter and more resilient future where technology serves the greater good. This initiative offers a unique opportunity for cross-border collaboration, enhances the exchange of best practices, and strengthens European solidarity and shared responsibility.
