CULTURES IN CONTACT! LET'S WALK IN MY SHOES...
We are all unique, in our outlook, perceptions, attitudes, feelings, experiences, and history. There is no one just like us in the world. There never has been an exact duplicate of us, nor will there ever be one.
Differences make life interesting, and yes, challenging. Dealing with other people who see life differently makes for interesting relationships. Differences give life its opportunities for growth, insight, and awareness.
Nations who live in peace accept the uniqueness of other cultures. They are not on a mission to change them, correct them or invalidate them. They are patient with themselves and others knowing that differences in other cultures, just the way it is.
At the end of this study we will understand that everybody should think of whole-heartedly embracing some of other countries traditions as a bonus, but not a goal and be open-minded enough to understand the purposes of different customs, and try to see and accept the good in these cultural and religious differences. By using the universal language of dance, music and drama we can share similar emotions and thoughts.It is the best way to understand each other.
We firmly believe that we should embrace the parts of another culture that strongly call out to us, and just try to understand and accept the other cultural differences.
After all, it’s the differences between the cultures that brought us together.
