Learning Through Discovering

The project aims at providing a quality learning opportunity for children aged 13-15 years old that will allow them to acquire new competences, discover new cultures and strengthen solidarity.
For this project we would like to be sending organization, allowing our target group composed by disadvantaged children aged between 13 and 15 years old (social, economic, geographical and learning obstacles) to have a mobility experience.
Anyway, we are available for project application support and, if needed, as project coordinator.

The project idea originates from past EU experiences of Cooperativa Margherita, which evidenced the benefit that youth can have through mobility opportunities. Moreover, we considered that disadvantaged children we work with on a daily basis have less opportunities to take part in mobility activities. Then, the project want also to create this opportunity for them.

The project we are thinking about should consist in a youth exchange of 5 to 7 days during which the participants will realize different activities aimed at improving their social, linguistic and intercultural competencies.

Each organization should participate with at least 5 children and 1 youth leader.

For the future we are available to design and implement a youth exchange in our town with the partners of the same project.
