The Partner-Finding Tool
Increased Participation in Adult Education; Improved Skills and Competencies; Creation of Artistic Works; Enhanced Social Cohesion and Cultural Awareness.
The project C-cognition is an innovative project which focuses on adult education in the field of arts. The project is based on international and European values of adult education, that they put the participant as a priority, while they work on creating the knowledge and the understanding of the topic. The word cognition is used to highlight the process of producing knowledge, developing competences, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving, as well as adapting to new realities while using the acquired knowledge and tools. The letter C is used for the following terms, which will be very important during the implementation of the project: contemporary; cooperative; combined; circular; conscious; collective; connection; conception.
Project objectives:
- Promote lifelong learning by encouraging adults to engage in continuous learning through arts, fostering personal growth and skill development;
- Foster creativity and innovation among adult learners through exposure to various forms of artistic expression;
- Help adults develop transversal skills and key competences such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving;
- Utilize the arts as a means to promote well-being and mental health among adult learners, providing a platform for self-expression and stress relief;
- Enhance arts as a tool for promoting social inclusion and integration, particularly among marginalized groups representing different backgrounds, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, and people with fewer opportunities;
- Facilitate cultural understanding and appreciation among adults through artistic expression;
- Facilitate intercultural dialogue and understanding among adults from diverse backgrounds through collaborative artistic activities;
- Increase participation in adult education by using arts as a medium for learning, as well as promote the opportunities offered by EU-funded projects, especially through the Erasmus+ Programme and the Adult Education section.
