KA2 project about culture (musical and theatrical performances)

Project with musical and theatrical performances to show more than just an artistic performance; a way to prepare youth for a society full of scene works.

This cultural project is a structure which will help people to learn what youth should know about the art and cultural heritage. The musical and theatrical performances are more than just an artistic performance; it is a way to prepare young people for a society full of musical and theatrical scene works. It represents the appropriate and responsible way of behavior. Therefore, we want to make young people to learn about artistic access, literacy, communication, etiquette, rights and responsibilities. These will provide them with the necessary tools to have control of their lives and not being controlled by it. It will provide us with a solid ground for maintaining our youth safe during master classes and also in their private lives.
So we have decided to make efforts and resources to enable young people to learn about these aspects in a multicultural environment. In addition, one of the aims of this project is to see what are the position and the practice in terms of musical and theatrical performances in a heterogeneous group – there are societies with a broader experience, groups of people in which the social system train young people in the fields of art and also groups in which the artistic life is still at its dawn. By bringing them together, we will certainly create the opportunity to exchange ideas and practices in such a way as to benefit our institutions and their members in the long term.
• artistic skills and literacy
• awareness of multinational and multicultural identity and all the aspects it entails
• collaboration and communication skills
• creativity and level of English
• cultural awareness and sense of identity
• flexibility and adaptability, the capacity to express and defend a viewpoint
The target group of the project is young people at age of 17-30 years with different levels of school/professional performance, also unemployed young people. There are also disadvantaged groups in this target, namely young people facing social and economic challenges, students with learning difficulties etc.
As well as this, participation in learning and training activities will permit experts in music art from different musical institutions to observe their practices, see what initiatives they develop locally, what methods they have, who they receive support from in their activity, how each organisation integrates students with different backgrounds in their work etc. These will be observed in a structured way, through presentations, but also in informal interactions.
