KA 152: Music and peace

Music and peace (KA152 - Youth exchange project) - discrimination, xenophobia, and marginalization.

Dates: Autumn-Winter of 2022

The general aim of our project is to contribute to European peace by reducing prejudices of young people towards young people of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We will use the universal power of music to achieve this goal. With this project, we will give young talents from the disabled or disadvantaged groups the opportunity to show themselves through music and strengthen intercultural relations at the international level. In order to contribute to the general goal, our specific goals and achievements will be as follows:

1- To inform participating young people about intercultural music norms.
2- To introduce the participating young people to the cultural music genres of the partner countries.
3- To raise awareness in young people about the effect of music on personal development and cultural cohesion.
4- To increase the ability of the participants to act together and in harmony by increasing the interaction between music and cultures.
