Is Social Media Our Parallel Universe?

"Social Media:Parallel Universe" films online behavior, promotes self-sufficiency with "Tool Making"and addresses psychological impacts for mindful tech use.

"Social Media: Our Parallel Universe?" is a multifaceted project that aims to raise awareness through various educational activities and perspectives. At its core, the project includes the "Short Film Workshop in Parallel Universes," which aims to provide a visual experience illustrating individuals' tendencies to exhibit different characteristics on social media compared to real life. The goal is to encourage individuals to disconnect from the virtual world and become more integrated into real-life, promoting socialization, building genuine relationships, and coping with insecurities.
Additionally, practical skill development activities such as "Tool Making" and "Knot Techniques Training" allow participants to go beyond technology and demonstrate self-sufficiency. The "Technology-Free 3 Days in Nature" activity urges participants to disconnect from technological devices, fostering direct interaction with nature and experiencing the environmental impact of technology.
An informative session titled "The Impact of Social Media on Human Psychology and the Formation of Alter Egos" aims to increase awareness regarding the psychological effects of the virtual world. The "Advantages and Disadvantages of Technology" training invites participants to form groups and use cards to interactively explore opportunities and risks associated with technology.
The "Primitive Age - Digital Age Debate" aims to evaluate the past and future of technology, understanding the societal impacts of these changes. In preparation for a potential Solar Flare, discussions aim to make participants more prepared for a life without electricity and subsequent technology dependence.
Among other activities are "Cybersecurity Training," "The Impact of Technology on Cultures and Cultural Fusion," and more. Finally, sessions on "The Impact of Technology Pollution on Our World" and "Technology Addiction and Cyberbullying in the 18-28 Age Group" aim to draw attention to issues stemming from technology dependence among the younger generation and provide solutions.
Throughout this comprehensive project, participants will gain knowledge and practical skills, fostering a more conscious relationship with technology. We are actively seeking collaboration with disadvantaged youth affected by technology addiction and cyberbullying.
