To provide guidance for the women prisoners in our institution to gain a place in society after release by supporting their professional development
Our institution is an open prison institution that houses all female convicts. Trainings are provided in the institution for women convicts to learn business and profession. In addition to vocational training, many educational and improvement activities are carried out to improve their social and cultural aspects. However, although women prisoners have gained work and professional experience in the areas they have learned in institutions and had the opportunity to practice in the work workshops located in the penitentiary institution, they cannot find areas where they will employ themselves when they make efforts to gain a place in society after release. Since they cannot find sufficient support at this point, it is very difficult for women to enter both society and working life. The aim of the project is to increase the awareness of young women prisoners by improving their personal and social aspects during their stay in institutions, working towards obtaining the right profession according to their interests and abilities, becoming compatible with society after their release, guiding them on how to evaluate their acquired professional knowledge and abilities and gain their economic freedom, to guide them to become useful individuals to society at the point that women prisoners can become useful individuals to society.
In addition, to raise awareness about the Erasmus+ program.
