The "Inclusive Heart, Inclusive Mind, Inclusive World" project addresses the urgent need for a paradigm shift in how we approach societal challenges in Europe.
About the Project:
The "Inclusive Heart, Inclusive Mind, Inclusive World" project addresses the urgent need for a paradigm shift in how we approach societal challenges in Europe. Our increasingly divided societies, marked by rising xenophobia, nationalism, and environmental apathy, call for innovative solutions that go beyond surface-level interventions. This project aims to equip youth workers with transformative tools and perspectives to foster genuine inclusivity and social change.
Our objectives are threefold:
- Cultivate an "Inclusive Heart" through meditation and yoga practices, enabling youth workers to experience deep connectedness and universal love. This experiential foundation will empower them to authentically promote inclusivity in their work.
- Develop an "Inclusive Mind" by introducing the philosophy of Neo-Humanism. This will provide a rational framework for challenging divisive dogmas and expanding compassion to all beings, including the environment.
- Envision and work towards an "Inclusive World" by exploring the Progressive Utilization Theory (Prout), translating inclusive ideals into practical socio-economic structures and policies.
The project addresses several critical needs:
- The need for youth workers to have personal experiences of inclusivity and interconnectedness to effectively combat discrimination and promote social cohesion.
- The need for a comprehensive philosophical framework that can guide critical thinking and challenge divisive ideologies prevalent in society.
- The need for practical tools to translate inclusive ideals into concrete social and economic changes.
By addressing these needs, we aim to create a ripple effect. Empowered youth workers will be better equipped to inspire and guide young people towards creating a more inclusive, compassionate, and sustainable Europe.
