Globalization Challenges and UN 17 Development Goals – Possible scenarios for Europe and EU

European Youth and policy makers are now invited to spend days at a Danish Folk High School to discuss important questions for Europe right now: The challenging questions are:
• The Globalization Challenges - what scenarios will this lead to in the future in the perspective of the UN 17 development Goals?
• Is the common European EU project dissolved or will the target be: to put more effort in the European collaboration in the light of this future perspective?

We expect 100 Young people from different European countries to come and work not only with debates, dialogues, presentation and discussion but also with different sports and performing arts.

INTRO
In 2017 Oure Folk Highschool hosted the first UNLEASH Project (https://unleash.org/) with more than 100 youth from all over the world. We like to continue the idea and even start a new tradition in Denmark by establishing a live youth forum Camp, which is in line with one of the main aim for us: Developing Global Citizen in the light of the UN 17 Development Goals.

We will focus on European issues. For this year’s Youth Camp we like participant from all over Europe, but mainly from Germany, France, Poland and Denmark.

THE PROCESS
The two main questions will be the motor for the whole camp and the final scenarios will be send to the main political parties in the involved countries and hopefully make a debate as a Young Voices appeal for the decision makers.
The camp will be organized as a mixed process with presentations, dialogue, discussions, group work with scenarios arranges as investigation, vision, actions and possible change ideas. Sports and performing arts sessions will be the main part in the afternoon and more social and cultural activities in the evening hours.
