First steps

The project “First steps” is a project proposal that aims to create opportunities for quality partnerships among youth organizations from donor and beneficiary countries through exchange of good practices and information in the field of youth projects. The project is going to be developed by Romanian NGO “Mod of Life” and applied for funding under the EEA Grants –bilateral funds.

Project objectives:
• to provide information about cooperation opportunities between donor and beneficiary countries;
• to provide space for new partnerships between youth organizations from donor and beneficiary countries
• to understand the basics of quality partnerships and to be able to develop the quality partnership on international level
• to encourage the development of the basis of the future common projects
to get to know each other professionally;
• to build trust and partnership among partner organizations;

Program of activities
The project itself is structures as a partnership building activity with elements of a study visit. We plan two mobility activities –one in Romania and the other in the country of the partner organization in order to check the realities where project partners are working, to meet fellow local organizations and exchange good practices examples in the field of youth projects. We will provide space for partnership building and project developing as well. The final program of activities is going to be finalized with partner organization.

Financial Conditions
- The board and lodging, travel costs and all other costs incurred during the activity for all participants will be provided by organizers through project budget.

Eligible partner organizations
We are looking for youth NGO`s from donor countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
