EVS meets Schools

This project is a training regarding EVS and its benefit. The participant will learn how to face EVS projects and volunteers in order to implement successful projects. Therefore we are looking for schools and public institutions interested in EVS, with or without EVS accreditation.

OBJECTIVES
> provide teachers to face EVS volunteers at school, seen their formal background
> increase the quality of EVS project mainly focusing in DEOR
> involve more young people with fewer opportunities in non-formal learning experiences
> promote European Voluntary Service and Youth Exchanges as a non-formal learning experience, in particular among youth with fewer opportunities. Being in contact with schools is an opportunity to reach a lot of young people.
> create bridges between formal and non-formal education organizations
> recognition of non-formal learning experiences in terms of school credits
> create and strengthen a network of partner at national and European level interested in the issue of the recognition of learning outcomes developed through non-formal education activities

The selected organizations will be in charge to send 2 staff members if the project is approved
