EVS 2016-17 !

PROFILE 1:
- Giving support in English lessons in the local high schools: work in small groups to practice the speaking, prepare activities, and collaborate with the teachers
- Providing English speaking time to the staff of the Department of Youth of the City Hall of Terrassa “Lunch in English”
- Providing language support to the projects of La Vibria – to make translations, mostly from Spanish to English
- Participating in the talks on international mobility organized by La Vibria, largely in Terrassa but from time to time in the other cities where our information points are located, explaining the personal experience abroad

PROFILE 2:
- The volunteer will assist in the Department of Artistic Creation of Casa Baumann (BaumannLab, BUCS Baumann).
- Assisting in organizing and realizing workshops, concerts and other events
- Follow ups on events, including photo editing
- Creation of posters and videos.
- The volunteer will be actively working with graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.) and video editing software.
- Participating in the talks on international mobility organized by La Vibria, largely in Terrassa but from time to time in the other cities where our information points are located, explaining the personal experience abroad

PROFILE 3:
The volunteer will be involved in two projects:
a. Part-time in la Vibria Intercultural
- Jointly with other staff members, providing consulting services on international mobility for the local youth both in person and via internet/phone;
- co-organizing and participating in the talks on international mobility organized by La Vibria in the secondary institutions as well as in Casa Baumann;
- assisting in preparation of Erasmus + projects (youth exchanges, training courses, etc.);
- assisting in communication with our partners from abroad;
- maintaining the database of the projects/consultations offered.
b. Part-time in “Districte Jove”
- Providing educational and pedagogical support to the children and youth with fewer opportunities of the youth centres of Terrassa (help them with their homework, give foreign language classes or other workshops)
- Organizing the time schedule of the centres
- Manage their leisure and socio-cultural activities
(*)The age of the children is 12-18 years old with some rare exception. The majority of them are children of immigrants.
