Activities description: Associazione InCo in cooperation with the local high school “Liceo Classico De Sanctis” is planning a 6-days youth exchange about the topic of lost traditions and cultural heritage. By non-formal education, youngsters will play games, watch videos, simulate festivities and celebrations of each country in order to represent local environment/atmosphere, traditional clothes, art, music, theatre, sport. The project includes:
• Debates and workshops about our own traditions
• Simulations about our own cultural heritage
• Games and typical sports of each country;
• Tour of the city;
• Cooking traditional meals;
• Typical dresses parade.

Objectives: The project aims at saving and protecting local and European traditions, since nowadays we risk losing the habits, tradition and knowledge of our parents and ancestors. Other objectives are:
- To raise awareness of our cultural heritage and protect it.
- To develop European identity through cultural heritage.
- To develop non-formal competences.
- To enhance intercultural awareness.
- To improve foreign language competences.
- To create international relationship network among youngsters.
- To promote diversity, common and/or different traditions, tolerance and respect of them.
- To unify and build bridges between the opposing views and interests among European youngsters.

Profile of participants - Age between 17 to 22 years old.
- Involved group leaders must be at least 18 years old.
- Flexibility and adaptation attitude
- Be committed to participate for the whole project duration (preparation, activities, follow up and evaluation)
- Able to communicate in English independently
- At least 2 participants with fewer opportunities
- Organize and run an activity within the project (to be discussed)
- Write cv and application form in English
