Equal Participation in Work and Life: Inclusive Education and Employment Programs for Disadvantaged Youth

We are about to prepare and continue a project within the scope of KA-153 Mobility of Youth Workers.

"Equal Participation in Work and Life: Inclusive Education and Employment Programs for Disadvantaged Youth.

Within the scope of this project, we want to do the following;

This project was developed to reintegrate young people involved in crime and under probation into society and ensure their integration into economic life. In Turkey, these young people face serious disadvantages in education and the labor market, and they run the risk of social exclusion and not being able to gain economic independence. Many of these young people have low education levels, face obstacles in finding employment, and are at risk of re-committing to crime due to their social environment. The project aims to develop the capacities of youth workers in order to increase the employability of these young people, raise awareness about gender equality and strengthen their social cohesion.

International Cooperation and Observation Visits: 10 youth workers participating in the project will observe successful rehabilitation and integration programs in Europe Country and integrate the knowledge and experiences gained from these programs into practices in Turkey. Europe country has a strong history and successful practices in the rehabilitation of young people who have committed crimes, and this knowledge will increase the capacities of youth workers in Turkey.
