Empty Your Mind to Fill it with Creativity

The project focuses on empowering young Europeans by bringing them together in a multicultural environment and involving them in activities that would enhance self-development by using meditation, creative writing, mindfulness, self-observation and exploration etc.

The objectives of the project are to encourage young Europeans to effectively use their mind for understanding themselves and thus being able to create the life they would want to live, inspiring others to dare for the same. Through meditation and creative writing, individuals will better understand and observe themselves, their patterns, habits, interests, wishes, passions, and therefore will be more aware of their future dreams and goals.

The project involves 25 participants from 5 countries. It especially focuses (but is not limited to) young Europeans willing to work on their self-development and creativity, in order to discover and expand their skills and competences. The youth exchange is open to people with fewer opportunities and aims at ensuring gender balance.

The youth exchange will also encourage participants’ observation skills and using creative writing in achieving their goals. Participants will have an opportunity to practice their creative writing skills, fictional character building and understanding, as well as transform their writing into more tangible formats, like blogs and social media posts. The youth exchange will also provide a possibility for participants to share their skills and learn from each other.

The selection of participants implies gender balance and inclusion of people with fewer opportunities, therefore promoting equality. The project highly supports recognition of non-formal and informal learning, in particular focusing on the dissemination of good practices throughout the participant’s organisations.

By the end of the youth exchange, the participants will have started to observe and reflect upon themselves and discover their creative potential, to realise their goals and dreams for a better life for themselves and their local communities.
