KA210-YOU: Empowering marginalised youth through the enhancement of mental health resilience MUTUAL PARTNERSHIPS SEARCH

Application details: KA210 Erasmus+ project, looking for organisations in the fields of YOU and/or ADU for a mutual partnership. Topical priorities are psychosocial support, employment, and culture.

Introduction:
We are pleased to introduce our initiative focused on empowering marginalised youth through the enhancement of mental health resilience. Our project, known as "Empowering Marginalised Youth through Mental Health Resilience," seeks to collaborate with like-minded partners to create a lasting impact on the well-being and integration prospects of this vulnerable group.

Project Overview:
The project acknowledges the complex interplay of challenges faced by marginalised youth, including Ukrainian displaced youth in Bulgaria and other migrant/vulnerable/marginalised populations. These individuals often navigate a critical phase of personal transformation marked by puberty and the transition into adulthood, compounded by traumatic experiences from their vulnerable position. The resulting mental health challenges, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression, necessitate a comprehensive and culturally sensitive approach to support their resilience and well-being.

Objectives:

Enhance Resilience: Strengthen the mental and emotional resilience of migrant and refugee youth to effectively navigate stressors and challenges.
Prevent Mental Health Disorders: Provide training and support to prevent and mitigate the onset of mental health disorders among the target youth.
Holistic Support: Create a comprehensive support system for affected youth, facilitating access to mental health services, social resources, and education.
Improve Integration Prospects: Enhance social interactions, network-building, and integration prospects for marginalised youth within host communities.
Enhance Schooling and Employability: Offer life skills training and vocational support to improve access to education and employment opportunities.

Expected Impact:
Through this partnership, we aim to achieve a lasting impact on the well-being and integration prospects of marginalised youth. By strengthening their mental health resilience and equipping them with essential skills, we envision improved social inclusion, successful transition to adulthood, and the cultivation of empathetic and inclusive communities.

Next Steps:
We welcome interested partners to express their interest by reaching out to us. Further discussions will be held to explore potential collaborations, roles, and contributions in line with our shared objectives.
