Education For All Project

EFA will raise awareness about the importance of education as a fundamental human right, like the right to have proper food and a roof over your head,

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
All children need quality education and every child has the potential and skills to make meaningful changes in their community, country and continent for a better world. Rising Hope Foundation for Change (RHFC) is proud to introduce a new initiative to achieve this, Education For All (EFA). EFA aims to ensure that every least privileged child in Cameroon has all that they need to go to school. Our mission is to expose under privileged youth to quality education, engaging in sports, socio-cultural and environmental upliftment opportunities. This aims to improve the welfare and wellbeing of the least privileged in Cameroon.
We need your support and invite you to contribute and participate in the following immediate projects:
• Printing of 3 000 exercise books to be distributed to least privileged youths (orphans and physically challenged individuals and especially girls). Through an official ceremony. These will include inspirational messages on human rights and climate change. These will include logos from our partners and sponsors. They will be distributed to all schools and orphanages in Fako Division.
• Tuition fees for 100 of the least privileged youth (orphans, physically challenged children, especially girls) in orphanages in Fako Division, South West Region, Cameroon.
• Planting 120 trees at orphanages in Fako Division with youth from the orphanages to provide environmental and climate change education and offset your carbon footprint.
Be part of history. Change the life of a child for the heart of education is the education of the heart.
GOD BLESS YOU.

Project overview

Education For All Project is a project by
Rising Hope Foundation For Change (RHFC)
taking place
from 2015-08-01 till 2015-09-01
This project relates to:
Training and Networking, Strategic Partnerships, Capacity Building
and is focusing on:
  • Children
  • Disability
  • Environment
  • Gender equality
  • Non-formal learning
  • Sustainable development
This project can include young people with fewer opportunities like
  • Social obstacles
  • Economic obstacles
  • Disability
  • Educational difficulties
WHAT ARE THE PROBLEMS, ISSUES AND CHALLENGES? The least privileged children come from poor families backgrounds. They are orphans and physically challenged individuals, especially the girls. Their parents/guardians are working as daily wage labourers in hazardous jobs and subsistence farming. Due to poverty, these children are forced to drop out of school and then become domestic servants, thieves, prostitutes and child labour. Many are forced into child marriages and human trafficking. Through EFA the least privileged youths will be protected from these dire situations. We hope to provide a better quality education so that they have a brighter future.
