Development of Rural Areas through Enterprise

About project:
Many young people flee the rural areas and move to bigger cities, leaving the villages empty and poor. On the other hand, the cities are becoming too populated and too polluted. In this age where one can set up online business and doesn’t have to be in city in order to find clients, there is potential for rural areas to blossom once again. Online enterprises along with agrotourism are trends that might change our environment significantly. During this project we will closely look at opportunities in development of rural areas, what can be improved and how can we persuade people to stay and develop their villages for the better. We will exchange best practices, see agrotourism in practice, meet local enterpreneurs and learn skills people in rural areas/agrotourism/location independent enterprises need.
