This project will offer students and teachers inspiring practical contexts of using ICT education for personal and school development.
Many students cannot autonomously produce something comprising ICT elements in a non ICT context or in non-formal education circumstances. They largely use their ICT achievements to play games, listening music or getting new friends, but they rarely do this in order to acquire new skills, to join an out of school project or participate in a community action.
This project will offer students and teachers inspiring practical contexts of using ICT education for personal and school development. By exchanging experiences with other schools, by attending workshops and conferences, they will become more creative and responsible in using ICT in both school and non-school contexts. At the same time, students will develop their social skills, they will be able to contribute various community projects, teach their peers etc. Through more practical and real life related situations, students will be more interested and proficient in ICT education and their schools will become more attractive to students valuating these approaches. They will be more active in their own learning, they’ll work in teams and by using real problems of their communities. Consequently, they’ll be better prepared to face real life situations and more motivated improve their education level.
