Coexistence - Training Course on environment and society

Ecological club, Mladenovac will apply for Ferbruary 2013 deadline with project proposal „Coexistence - Training Course on environment and society“ under action 3.1 of Youth in Action programme.
Date: 30.09.2013. to 06.10.2013.
Venue: Mladenovac, Serbia
Number of participants: 3 participant per partner

Summary of the project:
For the large numbers of people resident in the developing world, their basic needs in terms of both development and conservation are immediate and local; survival in the short term is their primary concern and for this they depend largely on the resources of the surrounding are. This Training Course aims at the promotion of sustainable development - of coexistence between the environmental resources and development of our local communities. It will provide youth workers, volunteers and activists with necessary competencies over sustainable living, through a mixture of methods including Education for Sustainable Development, Non-Formal Education, appreciative inquiry and case studies. As a result partcipants will receive the necessary skills in managing local projects as well as set of competencies allowing them to multiply their knowledge and reach more young people. The project will be hosted in Mladenovac, Serbia, and will involve 30 participants from 10 different countries.
