It is aimed to produce Greenhouse Gas Inventory, Risk, Opportunity and Vulnerability analyzes in order to develop local plans, strategies, road maps and/or to prepare decision-making tools (modelling, impact and vulnerability analysis, etc.) regarding climate change.
The prepared inventory will support the Climate Change Action Plan, which is prepared without relying on numerical data, and will guide more applicable decisions.
In addition, Amasya's Risk, Opportunity and Vulnerability analyzes are made and it is aimed to serve with the least emission / emission in the administrative and implementing areas of the Municipality.
Our partnership in the creation of climate change adaptation technologies and systems will be guiding.
We will act together with our partner to increase the capacity of local governments for implementation and to share knowledge and experience between local governments in Turkey and the EU.
We will exchange ideas and methods by carrying out our activities jointly.
Specific goal(s) (ie result(s)):
Developing local strategies, adaptation action plan, mitigation action plan and road maps in line with these plans regarding climate change and sustainable development;
Realization of administrative change with the plans to be prepared to support the formation of Local Policy;
Development of Local Climate Action and Adaptation Plans;
Implementation of programs to localize global agendas on environment and climate change;
Developing technology and innovative tools to carry out climate change adaptation studies, especially in our institution's work;
Opening a common website where we will carry out our work with our project partner to share examples of good practices related to climate and environment, sharing the activities from the accounts to be opened in social networks within the scope of visibility;
Ensuring inter-institutional cooperation and coordination with local dynamics in order to adapt to the effects of climate change in local and sectoral policies and to strengthen the capacity;
Signing the Covenant of Presidents with our project partner to increase representation in European networks through joint actions;
It is aimed to prepare Greenhouse Gas Inventory, Risk, Opportunity and Vulnerability analyzes in order to identify and monitor the effects of climate change at the local level.
