''Beat of life''

This project will be applied for the 1 Februar term.
The name of the project is "Beat of life" and it will take place in Latvia, Rezekne city.

The main themes are:
• Improve youth skills in music knowledge in the field of music
• Improve knowledge in the field of music.
• Develop the skills to perform in front of audiences.

Objectives of the project are to learn about other cultures, to develop skills for young people to act and think creatively, and to develop language skills, communicating in English.

From each Member State (4 countries) will be invited four young people aged 16 to 18 years and one group leader. The project will be encouraged not just music connoisseurs, but also those who want to develop themselves and maybe even fulfil my dream - to learn to play any musical instruments. Youth Exchange 2013 will be held from 16 to 22 September.

This project will last for one week or seven days. Young people will be enrolled in the partner countries and housed in Rezekne, as well as the entire activities take place in Rezekne. Within seven days will be unity games, quiz, singing evenings, musical creativity-enhancing games, experienced musicians in master classes, including physical activity and sports, Partner Explore traditional instruments, instrument building, with limited resources, preparing for the final concert (attempts), a new song-crafting , studio visit, the final concerts and other activities.

As you know, the program covers 70% of their travel expenses and 100% of accommodation, meals, program activities and APV costs (if the project is approved).
