3 Religions - 1 Europe

Main goal - to share knowledge (formal and non-formal way) about 3 main religions in Europe – Islam, Judaism and Christianity.

The main goal to organize SEMINAR „3 Religions - 1 Europe” for youth workers, teachers, psychologist, trainers, EVS coordinators/mentors, professionals involved in issues of religions is to share knowledge about 3 main religions in Europe – Islam, Judaism and Christianity. The situation in Europe is still changing, we have very strong and rather negative media canal of information, but the true…………? What is the true? Judaism, Christianity and Islam have got a lot of similarities. First was Judaism, next Christianity (based on Judaism) next Islam (based on Judaism and Christianity). Yes, we would like to know more. We would like to teach how to be in respect for other religion based on knowledge of history, habits, main religion event. We would like to know and we would like to invite You to share your knowledge or learn about it.

We will discuss topics related to history, traditions, upbringing, family relations, child and women place in the society. During formal presentations, workshops and discussion panels we will talk about contentious issues our fears and doubts. Important point will be sharing experience of how to work with multireligion group/emigrants, which rules need to be followed and to what pay special attention.
1 day – arrival, dinner, integration area
2 day - Judaism
3 day - Islam
4 day - Christianity (Catholic, Orthodox, Greek Catholic)
5 day - history of religions conflicts - Visit Treblinka (German Camp extermination of the Jews in Poland)
6 day - similarities/differences we should to know - work in groups
7 day - key findings /final evaluation
8 day – breakfast, Youth Passes - departure
