Youth Office -Municipality of Rivoli (To)

The Youth Office operates in the field of Youth, for the Municipality of RIVOLI (a 50.000 inhabitants Town in the Metropolitan area of Turin, Piedmont, North Italy).

It deals with the design of initiatives in favor of the younger generation, usually between the ages of 15 and 29 years.
It operates by promoting, coordinating and providing services and projects ranging from information to new technologies; by the availability of opportunities for active participation in the life of the City.
The realization of creative activities, to proposals for international mobility. (Exchanges - Internships)
From active support to job search for young people, organizing internship working.
Organization of aperitifs on topics of interest of youth.
The transversal youth policy provides that projects are coordinated by different sectors of the administration, working in synergy with each other: Youth, Employment, Education Services, Culture, Environment, Social Services, Office of Peace.
It has functions of directing, planning, guidance and coordination for the implementation of activities aimed at young people in the city.
Normally we organize several activities, such as workshops, musical Events, Graffiti Contests, Foreign Language Courses, and we regularly organize International Youth Exchanges and participate in various projects. The office Team is formed by a Chief Manager, an Area Responsible Manager, two public servants and by two worker, plus one or two Local Social service Volunteers.
We are member of the Regional Web of Youth Information Center.

We collaborate with experts in UE exchanges organizations formed by some young volunteers; in this project, after the good impression we had in leading the last exchange, we are collaborating with EUFEMIA Association.
EUfemia is an association for social promotion in cultural field, promoted by a group of young people committed to support the process of European integration.
We have been involved in many projects within the framework of EU Programmes, especially in the fields of Youth. Thanks to tools as life-long formation, non formal education, intercultural dialogue, exchanges and networking, our
association aims to develop programmes of education to active citizenship in an European context, especially in the fields of Youth, Equal opportunities and Social Inclusion.
