WeSound

WeSound is a non profit organization based in the province of Torino (Italy).
Its members gathered in October 2019, they started cooperating together, creating local activities and workshops as a non formal group of young people and, after having coordinated and implemented their first international mobility in July 2021, they decided to register as a non profit organization in January 2022, in order to create new opportunities for their target groups not just at local, but also at national and international level.
The aim of the organization is to inspire and empower young people to create connections
with themselves, the others, the community and the world; foster social inclusion, active participation and solidarity among young people coming from different backgrounds and facing different challenges.
The group is very experienced in working with youth especially in the field of non formal education and experiential learning, each member has a particular background that enriches the competences and professionality of the team, which can count on different profiles such as:
Matteo Bolle: youth worker, project designer and certified spotify composer;
Davide Peirolo: city councilor of the town of Bussoleno, responsible of youth policies;
Umberto Angelone: musician, certified spotify composer and content maker;
Saul Nebot: environmental educator, responsible of international relationships;
Pietro Pontillo: web designer, accountant;
Paola Balduzzi: environmental architect, project manager.

The activities that the organization carries out are based on non formal education methods and involve young people coming from
different backgrounds; many youngsters are unemployed and struggle to find a direction with their lives, others are coming from rural areas such as living in Valle Susa, having less opportunities to be surrounded in an international environment.
Through international and local projects, the organization works with the following topic: Art and especially music as a way to foster self-expression and social inclusion, raising awareness on sustainability practices and outdoor education, wellness and mental health, and coaching techniques for international groups.
