United Power of Youth

“UPYOU“ is a new organization, founded in 2019 in Turkey by a group of experienced people. It aims to be a sustainable leading organization on the local and regional level, a reliable partner in the creation and the implementation of educational policies along with all key stakeholders. UPYOU provides its expertise and assistance to enable local communities to overcome social and economic disparities of disadvantaged social groups by developing specific and innovative actions. UPYOU constitutes of several professionals such as psychologists, social workers, teachers and other associates that contribute towards achieving the organisation’s main objectives.
Our organisation’s main target group is youth, in this sense reaching young people, introducing them outdoor sports, keeping them apart from addictions(game, screen, technology, drugs etc.) making them respectful / aware against nature and environment, finding alternative ways instead of being in a game / shopping centre, using technology in useful and friendly way for nature are our aims.
In this context we are organising following regional/ national/ international scope activities, cooperation with our stakeholders ( other clubs, schools etc.) to achieve our goals;
- Investigation / research activities
- Courses with our professional trainers
- Seminars about technology addiction / using technology on behalf of nature
- Preparing informative documentation about club’s activities, addiction types for unexperienced partners and society as well.
- Social activities such as visits to historical places / museums / solidarity dinners
-Our volunteers and staff are involved with a variety of cases which are of societal importance for our clients, whether it be volunteer work, schooling, or a re-integration program
