Udruga KOMA

Udruga KOMA is a non-profit youth organisation founded in December of 2013. Organisation is based in Kutina, Croatia and it's main goal is promotion and development of social and cultural life.

Main activities:
- planning, organising and managing music, humanitarian and volunteer events
- planning, organising and managing art shows, movie nights, public hearings and similar events
- education of youth through creative workshops, radio shows and public networks
- cooperation with similar organisations in Europe and World wide
- applying to ERASMUS+ projects

Some of past activities include:
- June - September 2014. - organisation of Erasmus+ project "Integration of asylum seekers to local community"
- July 2012, 2013 - participation in organising Kutina Summer Workcamp for children up to 14 years which was one of the best evaluated camps in Croatia according to International Volunteers
- December 2012 - December 2013 - planning and organising 3 electronic music themed parties in Beatz & cutz parties (BCP) series, a unique series of parties founded by our organisation
- August 2014 - Organised and managed youth exchange for ERASMUS+ project "Integration of asylum seekers to local community"

Integration of asylum seekers to local community

Project goal is promoting tolerance and diversity between young people from different cultures and encourage them to accept asylum seekers in the community.

Youth for ecology

Project wishes to point to the issue of heavy industry and its impact on the local population and environment.

The state of human rights

Project goal is increasing awareness of young people about basic human rights and how to use them to create a world for themselves.

Youth work skills development

Project is focused at increasing self-confidence in young people in order to better compete in the labor market.

Building a team

With this project we want participants to adopt the concept of working in teams and explore different ways of managing their roles and responsibilities.

Mediation - Third wheel makes the deal

With this project we want participants to meet with the process of mediation as a way of conflict resolution among children and youth.

Power of words

With this project we want to reduce the rate of intolerance, discrimination and harassment in all partner countries in this project.
